In the 21st Century, prominent Dutch designers elaborate their designs in their own workshops, generally producing works in small editions. It allows them to adopt an independent critical attitude. 'Dutch Design in the 21st Century: Hands On!' shows how 21st Century design embraces the revaluation of traditional craft production, initiates new digital production methods and flirts with the visual arts.
