Along with The Little Mermaid and a number of other early fairytales, H. C. Andersen established his name as a highly original author when he was just in his early thirties. The story of the girl from the sea who followed her dreams and suffered a tragic fate on land is known all over the world - a statue of her has even become a kind of unofficial national symbol for Andersen´s home country, Denmark.


The Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama has in our time reached a status which in her field commensurates with the fairytale writer. Once you get your eyes on it, it is unique/striking in which degree their universes and efforts as artists are similar. Together with the artist, we have chosen to let Kusama´s works from her series Love Forever surround the poet´s words. They lend each other new meanings as if they were meant for just that.
