What makes an effective exhibition space? How can center stage be given to to the works on display whilst also creating a place of architectural merit? Attempts are made to answer these and other questions and the surrounding issues through a wide variety of proposals for exhibition spaces. Ideas are introduced that can transform what otherwise would be an undistinguished series of rooms into a space that facilitates the enjoyment of the subject in question, whether they be works of art or artifacts in a museum.
