Once a friend of mine wrote to me his reflections about this collection of short stories: I like to think that the contents of these stories is somewhat a sort of magical realism as whenever bizarre or possibly supernatural events are described in a straightforward/deadpan manner. It is revealing the magical in a mundane world, the characters, their communications, and interconnectedness is, beyond any stretch of imagination, is happening outside the physicality of life, inside the deepest realms of dreams. As it is a solid fact that is known to all literature critiques in Magic Realist literature, the most fantastic, crazy things are narrated in these stories in a very matter-of-fact way. Your mom turned into a moonlike smiling face? No biggie. Your wallpaper started talking to you? Happens every day. Little fairies came to dress you for school this morning?
