Lise gives up on Janne, resigns from her jobs, and travels to Oslo to record an album with the other woman. Theoretically, she should be happy about it, but love continues to evade her grasp. Eli Salstad has an epiphany and begins to realize that she's been too quick to judge the people around her. She's been wrong about a great many things, but there is one person she'll never change her mind about: Age Skjaersvik. The feeling is mutual. Age hates her. He hates all of them.
