My First Origami Book is an exciting introduction into the world of paper creations. With origami, the Japanese craft, you can turn ordinary pieces of paper into animals, decorations, toys and more - and My First Origami Book teaches you how, as well as other ways of using paper creatively. There are five chapters of 35 fantastic paper creations. Begin with 'Animals', from cows to whales and even a Chinese dragon! In 'Flying Objects', find out how to make the classic paper aeroplane, then try the kites or the space rocket. Make your bedroom and house beautiful with all the great 'Room Decorations' in chapter 3 - what about paper bowls, a flower basket or chopstick wrappers? In the 'Toys' chapter, once you've had fun making your paper creations, you can play with them, too! Have a go at the spinning top or the fortune tellers. Finally, there are brilliant presents in 'Gifts' - pop-out cards, crackers and folded fans.
