In Connecting Art to Stitch, the third book from international stitched-textile artist and teacher Sandra Meech, fine-art skills and materials are explored through a structured series of short exercises that are specially designed to increase confidence and unlock creativity. The exercises then go on to cover fabrics and stitch techniques, reinforcing the connection between the two disciplines.
