This new title has a practical approach strongly linked to underlying theory; it integrates the students' knowledge of basic science with the realities of managing clinical problems. Most importantly, the questions and their explanations provide an excellent tool for self-assessment. This realistic and informative tool for self-assessment includes: 36 clinical cases, addressing the major body system areas; learning points which are designed to give a rounded explanation of the topic; and, model answers and marking schemes. Developed and edited by two medically qualified scientists who have many years experience of curriculum development and assessment.
