The informative and authoritative text by Jim Gardiner provides a variety of information about the magnolias, including their cultivation, and Stephen A. Spongberg provides full botanical descriptions. Some of the paintings from the book will be exhibited in the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art at Kew, February - May 2014.
