Reaching out to all children and parents who feel a little lost in the big wide world, My Magical Garden is an enjoyable, interactive and easy-to-use self-help book. A collection of illustrations and poems, this pioneering book has been written to help children, from the age of four, work through their emotions and express them in a safe and loving way. They are invited on an enchanted journey through a magical garden where, on each page, they get to choose their surroundings. In order to help the child and their parents understand their choices, the book's authors have created an 11-page appendix at the back of the book. Here, they give an expert explanation for every decision the child has made. Say for example the child chooses a dragon to accompany him on his journey, this may mean that they are seeking protection and encouragement to overcome their fears, as the dragon represents protection, strength, courage and mystery. It's an extremely helpful and insightful tool for both the child and parent. It offers the adult a unique way to understand what the child is going through and how best to aid them.
