Today's world is changing rapidly - technologically, socially, and environmentally. One of the main challenges is climate change which is accompanied by an explosion of scientific and policy material. This volume provides 'usable science' based on cutting edge research regarding the impact of climate change on specific sectors in municipalities in Norway. Topics covered include climate change's expected impacts on Norway; agricultural runoff and drinking water quality under climate change scenarios; managing cultural heritage sites, including monuments and building facades, facing climate change difficulties; and, local floodplain management and how municipalities need to approach climate change for decision-making.
