All of the exquisite full-color illustrations from THIEME "Atlas of Anatomy: General Anatomy and Musculoskeletal System" are now available in digital format on the new THIEME "Atlas of Anatomy Image Collection" DVD.Faculty can use this outstanding collection of original artwork to add a brilliant visual dimension to their lectures that will not only pique their students' interest in course material, but also help students gain a more complete understanding of anatomy. Practitioners and researchers can also enhance their presentations with images from the DVD.This user-friendly DVD allows the user to import each image into presentation software (i.e. MS PowerPoint). Each illustration is available with or without labeling and captions. This DVD is best used in conjunction with the THIEME "Atlas of Anatomy: General Anatomy and Musculoskeletal System." All of the images on the DVD are organized according to the table of contents of the book. You can easily locate a particular illustration by referencing the DVD's table of contents, or by using the search function with keywords from the image legends and labels. Windows 2000 and XP are supported. Minimum 128 MB of RAM is highly recommended. Program runs best on a Pentium processor running at 300 Mhz or faster. Compatible with all Windows versions up to Windows XP. Compatibility with Windows Vista is currently under evaluation.Macintosh or compatible with a monitor of at least 1024 X 768 resolution capable of displaying Thousands of colors or more. This product will not run on OS X v10.7 (Lion). This disc was designed for PowerPC and will run on an Intel-driven Macintosh with the Apple Rosetta translator up until OS X v10.6 (Snow Leopard). The Rosetta translator is a default part of the Mac OS X installation up to version 10.6. Minimum RAM and processor speed requirements depend on the MacOS version installed, with a minimum of 64 MB for MacOS 9 and 128 MB for OSX. The program runs best on a PowerPC G4 processor running at 400 Mhz or faster.
