* Detective Kane returns to active duty with the New Eden Police Department following a six-month suspension in the wake of shooting and killing his partner, Dennis Harvey. His fellow police officers give Kane a welcome-back gift: a couple of bullets with his name on them. * Rico Costas is only a two-bit villain, but he's managed to make himself the target of The Blind Man, a legendary hitman who tracks down his victims by listening to their heartbeats.
