A whole new year of The Elements calendar! A month-by-month tour of the most beautiful and fascinating elements in the periodic table. "The Elements 2015 Calendar" is perfect for scientists, students, teachers, and anyone interested in the beauty and diversity of nature. Each month shows a full-page photograph of a featured element in its pure form and offers an interesting and informative anecdote. The elements in this year's calendar are boron, nitrogen, sodium, argon, nickel, strontium, niobium, indium, thallium, polonium, plutonium, and thorium. Smaller images of each element, as well as compounds, items made with the element, and products containing the element appear within the monthly grid. Also included are important dates in chemical history, as well as major North American, British, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand holidays.
