In the distant future, the world was a paradise - ended in a moment by the first war in centuries. As the United Free States, the bastion of freedom opposed to the tyrants of New Destiny, prepared for an invasion by the Changed legions of Ropasa, Edmund Talbot realized that bureaucratic ineptitude and over confidence was setting the USF fleet of ships and dragons up for a disastrous defeat at sea. When the fleet was destroyed, Talbot quickly assembled a formidable land force combining cavalry, longbow archers, Roman style legions, and dragons for airborne assault. The fascists of New Destiny thought world domination was within their grasp. Edmund Talbot was about to change their minds.
