With 5 million copies of A Series of Unfortunate Events sold in the UK alone, one might consider Lemony Snicket to be one of the most successful children's authors of the past decade. We, however, are less than interested in learning how, in a fading town, far from anyone he knew or trusted, a young Lemony Snicket began his apprenticeship in an organization nobody knows about.
