From the filming of Madhouse on Castle Street in late 1962 to the premiere of I'm Not There in the fall of 2007, Bob Dylan's big- and small-screen career has been laced with images that complement the music and lyrics he shared with the world for a concurrent 45 years. Nothing To Turn Off is a study of the moving pictures indelibly stamped with trademark Dylan themes and thoughts. Music videos, commercials, film and television appearances, scripts and tributes are examined, reviewed and placed in historic context. This is a view of the on-screen Dylan that provides a different, yet balanced perspective of the man whose art is heard, but not traditionally seen.
