Eddie Trunk is one of the leading experts on Heavy Metal and Hard Rock. EDDIE TRUNK'S ESSENTIAL will cover his favourite bands with a brief overview of their career highlights, the albums and songs that Eddie considers important and why, and many personal recollections of his experiences with these bands over the course of his career. Bands include a wide range of rock acts from Black Sabbath and Zeppelin to Metallica and Megadeath to the "golden years of hard rock" which includes bands like Bon Jovi, Motley Crue and Guns N' Roses. Also included are Eddie's "Fun Facts", which consist of metal trivia and anecdotes. He has been a VJ on VH1 Classic since 2001 where he now hosts "That Metal Show", which is currently filming its third season. (The "Stump the Trunk" portion of the show is a favourite and attests to his unparalleled knowledge of metal trivia.)
