This card can be used in a reading as a "wild card," as what some Tarot authors call the significator, or as a general atmosphere-setting concept. Unabashedly feminine and a restrained paean of praise to the animal kingdom, it features a largely female cast, lots of animal companions, commentators, bodyguards and familiars, and a mixed bag of traditional and not-so-traditional imagery, with traces of unorthodoxy here and there.
