All of these performers are virtual house-hold names in the sport of rodeo. This book will follow the basic format of "Rodeo Legends," which was published by "Western Horseman" in 2001 and has sold more than 16,000 copies to date. This particular format is one that "Western Horseman" has used quite successfully over the years with our "Legends" series profiling famous horses. Total sales for those 8 volumes are nearly 250,000 copies.Every event in rodeo is represented by the performers in this book. That variety will appeal to all rodeo fans, whether they are bull riders, ropers or barrel racers. Some of the competitors careers ended many years ago, but the majority have retired within the past 10 to 15 years, so they will be recognizable to rodeo fans of all ages.
