Reggie McNeal's "The Present Future" has sold nearly 100,000 copies in hardcover paperback and is the definitive work on the "missional movement," i.e., the widespread movement among Protestant churches to be less inwardly focused and more oriented toward the culture and community around them. His latest book, "Missional Renaissance, " the sequel to "The Present Future, " was published in Jan. 2009 and has now sold 24,225 LTD. This new book makes a trilogy; in it he examines a natural outgrowth of the move toward a missional orientation: the deconstruction of congregations into very small Christian communities. For all those thousands of churches and leaders who have followed Reggie's bold lead, this new book details the rise of a new life form in Christian community.
