Feedback for Learning examines how effective giving feedback actually is in terms of raising standards. It features innovative writing, based on the latest research and development work in schools, and will no doubt stimulate debate in the current climate of school improvement. It looks critically at ho, why and when feedback is given and the impact this has, or does not have, on improving learning. The book spans three major areas which affect all teachers: young people's learning teachers' learning organisational learning. It describes models and practices which are most likely to result in effective learning at these levels.
