What happens when you add one twenty-six-year-old American to a two-thousand-year-old city, take a big dose of culture clash and stir?Hannah Cumming and the population of London are about to find out. Have you ever woken up and wondered what you were doing with your life? Twenty-six year old American Hannah did so she moved to London, three thousand miles away from everyone she knows. Hannah is determined to enjoy her new life. She'll have pints at the pub, eat fish and chips, ride the big red buses and learn some very effective coping mechanisms (tutting, elbowing, eye-rolling). She's also desperate to meet the perfect English gentleman but how's she going to do this while she's living with three scantily-clad Aussies with a passion for hand-pulled beer and easily-pulled women? And how has she ended up being the mini-me for a poisonous individual called Felicity who doesn't trust her to arrange the paperclips? Keeping her boss sufficiently caffeinated isn't quite what Hannah had in mind for her dream job ... Has Hannah got carried away with the idea of starting afresh?
