The Caramel Tree Readers Level 3 is a delicious series of leveled readers for children ages 7 to 9. It offers a long list of new, original stories with approximately 1,000 words. In this series, students are presented with a variety of genres including realistic fiction, whacky fantasy, and action adventure. The weather has been gray for a very long time, and when Ray attempts to color a nature scene for his art class, he cannot remember the colors for the scene. He is too shy to ask for help so he mixes up the colors. Then, when the rainbow itself cannot remember the colors for the scene, it rearranges the world's colors according to Ray's picture and things become extremely strange. How can Ray stop the color madness?
