English summary: This volume is the result of a workshop, which took place in Vienna in late 2013, as part of the research project of the same name under the direction of Prof. Dr. Jan Harasimowicz. The contributions demonstrate how confessions that were the product of the Reformation went to great effort to create places of worship that would suit their requirements. West European and in particular Dutch and French solutions soon reached Northern and Central Europe, where they were modified in different ways according to local needs. However, a feature of the post-Reformation period was the emergence of new forms of cultural transfer. The countries of the Baltic region played an important role in this, having achieved their own cultural identity through the Reformation. - A comprehensive presentation of early modern Protestant church architecture throughout Europe, from England and Denmark to Slovakia and Hungary - An important contribution to the Luther Decade with new insights into the cultural transfer between Western, Northern and Central Europe unleashed by the Reformation. German description: Der Band ist das Ergebnis eines Workshops, der Ende 2013 in Wien im Rahmen des gleichnamigen Forschungsprojektes unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Jan Harasimowicz stattgefunden hat. Die Beitrage zeigen, welche Anstrengungen die aus der reformatorischen Bewegung hervorgegangenen Konfessionen unternahmen, um einen ihren Bedurfnissen angepassten Predigtraum zu schaffen. Westeuropaische, vor allem niederlandische und franzosische Losungen gelangten bald nach Nord- und Mitteleuropa, wo sie - nach Bedarf - unterschiedlich modifiziert wurden. Ein Merkmal der nachreformatorischen Epoche war jedoch die Herausbildung neuer Wege des Kulturtransfers.
