This is a clinically oriented book, particularly for physical therapists, students and other health professionals. The book focuses on the use of physical therapy applications for the management of spasticity, a symptom which leads to complex outcomes in multiple sclerosis patients through interaction with other symptoms of the disease. Application principles of physiotherapy methods in the management of spasticity are surveyed in terms of holistic treatment principles. Apprehension of neuro-physiological and bio-mechanical effect mechanisms of physical therapy applications are emphasised in particular.
