Start Spreading the News shows how to turn worthy events and announcements into newsworthy story pitches that will get the attention of reporters, editors and producers. Start Spreading the News recaps eight years worth of conversations and presentations from an annual media relations summer camp offered free of charge to nonprofits and community groups by The Hamilton Spectator and Mohawk College. All proceeds from the sale of Start Spreading the News will go to SpecKids Unlimited and help make Hamilton an even better place to be a kid and raise a child.
