It took its name ("transcription") from its use in making copies of books and and musaHif (copies of the Koran). It is beloved for its beauty, clarity, and smooth and speedy writing style, and thus has become the most widely used script in modern times, most often seen in books and education materials. This book will examine the rules and standards of writing Naskh.
